State of Inscription (me being max level)
Northrend Inscription Research – buggy. Discoverable recipes not available on vendors are either fail to appear in the inscription panel or they appear in the general tab of your ability book, rendering them useless. Also, the cooldown resets itself upon zoning; this, during beta, is preferred as it allows what few inscriptionists there are to try to make as many glyphs as possible; however, due to bug #1, this is not happening.
Glyphs – Several are not applying themselves correctly. Some glyphs aren’t worded clearly, so there’s ambiguity as to their effect. There are missing glyphs for staple class abilities. Some have been removed due to design decisions that affected the functionality of the named ability, rendering the glyph useless; no replacements were offered.
Levelling – Was exceedingly time consuming in the past. For long stretches, green recipes with rare mats were the only means of raising oneself to the next stage of the profession. Current build is reportedly better for number of levelling craftables, but material requirements were increased in return. Net effect – apparently a similar rate of skill increase, only seeing more ‘reward’ for the effort.
