FOX news covers WoW’s Zombie Invasion
FOX news picked up the story of the big zombie invasion, citing that the plague came to an end on Tuesday. They covered the event as a deliberate contagion that, if left “untreated,” would turn you into one of the “flesh-eating zombies.” Like our own Mike Schramm, FOX parallels this purposeful in-game disease with the previous accidental “Corrupted Blood” plague.
I love it when WoW is in the news. I love it even more when the media’s not talking about us being game-addicted fiends smashing the buttons for our Pavlovian treat. While FOX’s story isn’t exactly ground-breaking info for those of us toiling against the continuing Scourge invasion, it might reach a few of our friends and coworkers and convince them to give WoW a try.
Or, this coverage could just be another sign of the impact Blizzard’s game is having on the mainstream, while that 11 million subscriber base just keeps growing. And, yup, FOX’s article does mention the upcoming Wrath release, so it’s certainly possible Blizzard will see a few more players from the coverage. Every time WoW has an event

Arcane Brilliance: Inscription and the common Mage
Each week Arcane Brilliance gathers energy from the nether, spinning it from the bowels of the universe itself, then threads that dark matter together into a tapestry of destruction. This is a fancy way of saying that Arcane Brilliance summons up a column about Mages each Saturday. Then, over the course of a 5 second cast-time, it balls that column up into a giant ball of flame and nukes your face with it.
Patch 3.0.2 hurled a new profession into our little virtual pond, and like Jewelcrafting before it, Inscription has plunged beneath the surface like a cannonball. We’ll likely be sorting out the various waves and ripples that splash has created for months to come, but having spent the better part of three weeks with it, we can begin to see some results of the impact. Some of us have dived right in, picking up the profession and leveling it with gusto. Some of us only know that we saw a big splash, and that we are now very wet.
As a Mage, this profession intrigues me more than most. Several of the glyphs for Mages are quite powerful, the Scribe-only shoulder enchants are pretty spectacular, and the off-hand weapons

10 is not enough
Im sure someone else has stated this, however I didnt find it readily or see any blue comments so here goes.
The 10 characters per realm limit is instantly outdated with this coming expansion. Now I understand that there are only 10 classes and having one of each is perhaps enough to most people but why punish people for wanting more? I have 10 seventies In live (yes 2 mages one each faction) now in order to even make a DK I will be forced to transfer a toon off server. Not to mention that since I play on a PvE server I will likely want more than one DK (if this is ever an option) and perhaps will want to double up on more classes. My only options are to either buy and pay to maintain a new second account, or begin transfering characters off a realm ive been on since before BWL was released. The suggestion I most often hear is to sell this account ( in pieces) and then just reroll everything again. Which defeats the play I enjoy in the game.
Others collect; Vanity Pets, exalted factions, and titles and are being rewarded with this expansions collection of achievements, I have every seventy and most with good/decent gear as well as every proffesion
